Biography:

Joe was born in the Bronx, New York.
As a young child, his family moved
upstate to the Hudson Valley area
where he first became interested in
music. Joe now resides in the foothills
of western South Carolina. His main
focus is solo acoustic fingerstyle
guitar and songwriting. He also plays
keyboard, bass guitar, and
percussion. In fact, Joe plays all the
instruments on his album. He prides
himself on his independent view of
non-mainstream music. In his
compositions, you will hear a mixture
of folk, rock, celtic, country, classical,
and bluegrass influences, sometimes
all in one song! He likes to keep his
music pure and free of studio
overprocessing. In his early days, Joe
played in various bands
encompassing many styles of music.
He has played in churches, at many
festivals, as well as county and state
fairs to name a few venues. He has
also written various pieces for local
cable channels. Joe's travels have
given him the opportunity to make
many friends along the way.
